Born on March 30, 1963 in Miami, Florida, Lomas Brown played college football at the University of Florida in the early 1980’s. He was part of what was considered “the Great Wall of Florida”. The 6’4” 280 pound offensive tackle was drafted in the first round of the 1985 draft and continued to be one of the premier players in the NFL during his era. In his long 18-year professional career, he played for the Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants. His final path led him to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002 with whom he won a Super Bowl before retiring. Lomas was also named to the NFC Pro Bowl and the NFL All-Pro team seven times throughout 1990-1996.

Since retirement, Lomas has spent time on television and radio with ESPN, Sports Final Edition and Fox Sports radio as an analyst and also co-hosts a sports radio show in Detroit for WXYT. He is also a respected leader who has donated a lot of time to many charitable causes throughout the Detroit area. Lomas is promoting several summer football camps and a golf outing. He has recently come out with his very own Lomas Brown Big Fella BBQ sauce. All the proceeds from the camps, golf outing and BBQ sauce will go towards the research for Brachial Plexus Palsy at the University of Michigan. A condition his son Trey was born with, it is a type of injury in which a network of nerves in the neck is stretched and usually results in permanent loss of movement and feeling in the limbs.

Please show your continued support in helping Lomas Brown by purchasing his Big Fella BBQ sauce. Every order helps and assists in his mission to raise money for the research for Brachial Plexus Palsy.
